Darius To Duet With Little Brother?
Darius Danesh has hinted to MTV that a Danesh brotherly duet may be on the cards in the future.

Speaking in a interactive text chat on MTV Hits on Tuesday, February 4, the Pop Idol finalist raved about the musical talents of both his younger brothers, and revealed that they had ambitions of a pop star nature.

"My younger brother Aria, he's 18, he plays violin and piano," said Darius, "and my youngest brother Cyrus sings and is just starting to learn the piano - he wants to be a pop star."

"Aria is studying medicine and Cyrus is torn between 'Popstars' and being the next David Beckham!"

During the text chat, Darius also revealed that he'd love to duet with Madonna, and wished he had written Avril Lavigne's 'Complicated', which he described as a "brilliant" song.

In other Darius news, the hunky Scotsman had responded to reports that he is engaged to Mariella Dell'Aquila, one of the winners of Canada's version of 'Popstars', with a strong denial. "No, I'm not engaged!" he stated.

"I've only met this unfortunate girl once six months ago at an Oxford gig when a manager insisted I had my photograph taken with the group. I don't know her name. I can't even pronounce her name. I think it's quite funny. But it's an even bigger shame she's not even the pretty one from the group!"

Despite Danesh's words, Mirella's record company spokesman still maintains the pair are engaged. "It’s true, they are engaged," the spokesperson told The Sun. "He’s only denying it because it doesn’t fit with his image."

Only time will tell which one of them is talking bollocks.

Jackson Feels "Betrayed" By Bashir Michael Jackson has commented for the first time about Marin Bashir's documentary 'Living With Michael Jackson' which was aired in the UK on Monday, and in the US last night.

Jackson, who admitted during the documentary to sharing his bedroom with young boys, using a surrogate mother to give birth to his baby son, and claimed he has never had facial surgery, said that he feels betrayed, perhaps more so than ever before, by Bashir, who spent eight months with the superstar and his family in making the programme.

Shortly after last night's airing of 'Living With Michael Jackson' in the US, Jackson issued a statement through his UK spokesperson Stephen Lock, which read "I trusted Martin Bashir to come into my life and that of my family because I wanted the truth to be told.
"Martin Bashir persuaded me to trust him, that his would be an honest and fair portrayal of my life and told me that he was 'the man that turned Diana's life around'.

"Today I feel more betrayed than perhaps ever before; that someone who had got to know my children, my staff and me, whom I let into my heart and told the truth, could then sacrifice the trust I placed in him and produce this terrible and unfair programme."

"Everyone who knows me will know the truth which is that my children come first in my life and that I would never harm any child."

Oasis Heading For Top Oasis are on course to knock TATU off the top spot in the singles chart on Sunday with 'Songbird', the band's fourth single from their latest album, 'Heathen Chemistry'.

According to midweek figures, the hairy northerners are a few thousand copies ahead of the not quite so hairy Russian lesbians, who currently hold the top spot with 'All The Things She Said'.

Meanwhile, man of the moment (or one of them at least) Justin Timberlake is heading for Sunday's second highest new entry with 'Cry Me A River', which looks destined for number three. The only other new entry inside the top ten looks like coming from Sean Paul with 'Gimmie The Light'. In the top 20, new entries are on the cards for Counting Crows FT Vanessa Carlton with their cover of Joni Mitchell's 'Big Yellow Taxi', Big Brovaz with 'OK', and Good Charlotte with the catchy 'Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous'.

In the album chart, there's a bit of a battle on for the top spot. Justin Timberlake, who currently sits at number one with his 'Justified' LP, is leading the way at present, but Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland is hot on his dancing shoes with her solo debut 'Simply Deep'. Heading for a number three entry behind Justin and Kelly is the late Aaliyah with her 'I Care 4 U' LP, while Hell Is For Heroes' look set to complete the set of top ten new entries with 'The Neon Handshake'.
